At least you're going to have a white christmas. There's been some talk of 55-60* weather for chistmas... and this is MICHIGAN we're talking!

I'm jealous.

my family is down in Dothan and i am up in Montgomery for a time, i must say they are alot worse on the roads here in Montgomery than down in Dothan

I can finally relax, we got to the animals and everyone is fine. That has been a huge stress for me all day! We have spent the day dragging, digging and scooping people out. I'm finally home now, ready for a bowl of chili and sitting in front of the woodburner. Too bad I have to still cook supper! The boys are doing the chores and sledding. My hubby is still digging people out. What a day! It has finally quit snowing but they say we could get snow until 9 tonight. I always like a white Christmas but I would of taken a little less.

It's cold here in Montana, but the storm is south of us. We have a little snow on the ground from the last couple of weeks, but nothing that's left people stranded. Most of the deep snow around here is high in the mountains.

bumping for Sweetgoats...

Just wanting to get an update on Sweetgoats and the others who are in this big storm...hope all are okay. I know it has to make taking care of livestock a whole lot harder.

Let us know how you are everyone!

Flooding rains in S. La. for several days. Rained so hard in such a quick time that the drains/pumps can't handle it. Of course, I try to be positive. Walk around the place & make a note of the low spots so I'll know where to fill when things dry out. Like, here's how wet it is: my chicken house is high engouh to remain dry, but when I open the door, they have to swim or fly to get to their outside yard, which still has a few spots of ground.

Here are some pictures of the snow storm. Yep, we will have a white christmas. It is going to snow again tonight and then Sunday. I hope Santa can se better then we all could the other day.
we lost power for over 12 hours and it was darn cold, thank GOD we had a fireplace, and wood. I guess we could of been stranded out in the storm somewhere. So we really were pretty lucky.

Oh my gosh! Those pictures are awesome! I am so glad that you and yours are alright. This kind of a snow is dangerous.

Blessings...and Merry Christmas!
