Only reason I said take your goat to a vet to see if the goat has cocci or e-coli is because you do not need to be guessing in the wind!! Guessing in the wind can be life or death of a goat.

Heck I should know because when I first starting out with goats I lost some but I was guessing in the wind on things and I finally got me a vet that deals with goats and he comes to my house. He travels from his place to mine which is a 1 hours drive for him.

FH if I got you confused I'm sorry but what I posted to you is what I feed my baby goats now on the milk. I right now giving my buck two 16.9 ozs and thats till 7 weeks then he will get one bottle till 8 weeks then no bottle. I'm already giving him free choice of hay and medicated feed. He does not like the medicated feed but he is slowly learning to like it. Now on the milk giving way to much milk will cause them to bloat and die. Other than that I do not know anything else to tell you but good luck and hope the goat does better soon. How I found me a vet that know goats was through the Department of Agriculture and they gave me the phone number to a vet.

You can not let her keep having the runs because sooner or later she will get so bad the goat will die. I do not want that to happen to you. Find out what your dealing with before going pushing more and more meds down her because if your not treating it the correct way it migh kill her also.

Now that is all I'm saying because it is up to you now to do what needs to be done. Maybe if you do not have the money right up front the vet might work with you as well until you get paid and then pay them.

Good Luck and this is all I saying on this topic..
