I sorta took this thread over with all my wonderings and questions. Sorry about that. Pretty interesting stuff though...... about boar tails.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's got the boar in him...... because of what his mother supposably looks like, and the semi-flop ears. But his fur is definatly NOT soft and thick like a boar. I don't know if personality can tell a person what's in a goat, but he's not very "needy" or noisy. I've never been around any other goats before, so I've got nothing to compare it with. I just hear that saanens are loud. But I have no clue if he's loud compared to other goats, or not.  He doesn't seem all that loud to me.
And then my 3/4 boar baby wants nothing more at this time than her bottles and my lap for a nap.
I figure he's gotta be either saanen/boar, kiko/boar, or spanish/boar. If I don't find out before his horns come in, then seeing the horns will help. Atleast narrowing it down to spanish or kiko, since their horns are sort of the same.
