My Alpines are the sweetest, most wonderful goats on the planet. (Well, okay, Mermaid, the herd queen, can be a bit cranky at times, but she's always sweet to me.) My Alpine Buck is well mannered, even during breeding season. I wouldn't trade them for the world.
