Tassie's getting closer.

Her ligs are almost gone and she is getting a darker pink on the back end. We still aren't seeing any discharge to speak of, or anything really noticable.

Maybe

Tap, Tap, Tap, Waiting, Waiting, Waiting.

How you doing Motherclucker ?

Nothing... ...but there is some exciting news!

Tizzy and Suprise are for sure pregnent! Due june 17th. I felt them and there are babys in there! Lol...both I wasn't sure on if they where pregnent. Tizzy I really wanted bred due to her aborting in december at 4 months along .

Oh and this is just rich...one of my does who I REALLY have no due date on could POSSIBLY be due right around now. I looked at her and she is HUGE right now. Waddles around and it seems that her stomach has dropped also. So she went into the maternity pen along with the other three. I do have pictures . Which I will post later of my huge gals.

Ricoalette seems to be getting closer. Very affectionate and will just stare off into space. She to from what I remember can lose her ligaments pretty fast . I am glad Shelby that your gal is close. I wish mine would do SOMETHING normal. None is even really uddered up .

ps: this is me and Shelby ....lol..

I checked her about 8 pm and am going to try to stay up to check her again between 10 and 11. From there I will decide whether I'll be sleeping in the barn or not

Lol what you talking about? Thats just coffee . Dontcha just love those late night kidders? If I was you I would just do hourly or every other hour checks. Then if you feel she is getting closer you could stay. Thats what I do .

Ok..here is the update.

Ricoalette:
Lots of movement with those babys (they will be ACTIVE when they get out)! She is slightly hunched up and just stands around not doing much. Is eating her grain well though. No mucus and she still has her tendons although they are looser.

Rainy:
Slight mucus but tight tendons. Babys seem to be moving around some but not like Ricoalette's although she is breathing harder.

Trinket:
Some action but not much also..babys are pretty still and she also has her tendons although they are looser. No mucus on her either..but her vulva is getting red/pink and pouchy

Saharah:
who knows!

Tassie is about the same this am,
She is moving slower than normal though. Just a small section on lig you can feel right up by the tail head, and she is now holding her tail off to the side.

Tap,Tap,Tap,

Wouldn't that just be weird if they went the same day? Mine and one of yours that is.

Been out all morning cleaning barn and what not.

We have progress.

Ligs are gone, little more discharge, and lots of pressure.

Did ya'll know that when you post pix, you can highlight the text for the picture, then select "size" on the menu above, and select "1".
That way, the pictures are small enough to be viewable, althought they still take up the page, w/o having the whole thing stretched so wide?

I know what you mean about them waiting until we are not there! My doe showed NO signs of that day being the day and we went out to a full day homeschool field trip. I even thought maybe I should let her out of the kidding stall for the day because the weather was so beautiful! Good thing I didn't. We had three sweet little doelings being cleaned off when we got home. Naughty girl! (We forgave her!)

And Shelby...hasn't anyone ever told you (or your goat) they are supposed to give birth at 2:18 AM not PM and the weather is supposed to suck at the time. It was NICE out yesterday (even better today).

Our Matty when she kidded the first time did it at 10 pm and it was cold. So I am not looking forward to her. LOL

BTW Sorry couldn't get to your barn yesterday, too much excitement.
