Congrats Shelby and Cowgirlracer. I'll bet your babies are just as cute as mine are.

Cowgirlracer, I have been watching your posts about 'Winona' since that just happens to be my name. I remember the first post of yours that I read, something about how big and pregnant Winona was looking. It kind of startled me at first. LOL This is the first time I have heard of a goat named 'Winona', but sounds kind of nice. Take good care of her.

I have an Alpine doe (due any time now) who has one front leg like that. I think it's really cool looking.

Red face Winona, a beautiful name
Mo Crafter, your mother and I have great taste don't you think I got Winona and our herdsire "Judd" when they were just a few weeks old. They are both beautiful Saanens. We bottle fed them, and they are still the sweetest of the herd. Sorry about the big & pregnant comment - honest mistake

I like "Boots" or "Bootsie" - how about "Patches" or maybe "Splash" because of the splashes of colour?

Congrats on the new babies. We had babies here today also but wasn't baby goats it was kittens and I had to help deliver the first one and after that all went very fast..


Again congrats on the new baby goats. They are beautiful also..

She looks like a patchwork quilt- so "Patches" works. I also like "Nellie", and "Annabelle" is one of my favorites!

I was telling the family about the suggestions and they all liked Boots. They all like the Shrek movies even DH. So while talking about it they were trying to come up with things like instead of Puss N Boots, It would be Kid N Boots.
