i have an informally trained pygmy doe that pulls me around in a wagon. She is quite good, road safe, and smart. She was able to pull a 220 lb friend of mine on a paved, flat road, and two 110lb friends of mine for quite a distance easily. Cameron, a wether that died last december, was an ok cart goat. He had a tendancy to bolt to the side of the road when he was at a "canter", causing the cart to tip over, something me and my friends still laugh about. Boston, another pygmy doe, is just now going into cart training. Boston's pack training started this last summer with getting used to crossing water and long walks. no actually carrying yet. My two doeling kids that were born this year I also have plans for. Ester is going to be a pack goat mainly, but will probably also be trained to pull, and Cadee is going to be a cart goat, and will probably also be trained to pack as well.

That first Kamori Buck to me looks too much like a Nubian for it not to be in the background of Nubians....after all they did come from over there too. And I am sorry guys but that is not big or even huge....you obviously aint seen our Aussie bucks. I'll have to take some pics to share. We recently had a Buck show and the best exhibit was a Toggenburg..Kelvingrove Kaynne (around 48 inches tall) beat the British Alpine (around 49 inches tall), both Gentle Giants.

48-49"?!?!? Please take pics of them standing beside a person for reference. I would love to see (and own) goats that big.

Holy Moses! So, after that pic, did you hop on and ride him back to the barn? You wouldn't happen to be about 3'9" or so, would you?

That is one huge buck, Tracy. How big was he at two? I do think those Pakistani goats were used in the development of the Nubian. From what I have read, Nubians were developed by crossing goats from India (near Pakistan) with goats from Africa and China. The Saada goat dairy in Wyoming is breeding some huge Nubians. Their doe, Vampress, is massive. She won the champion challenge and best udder in show in Billings, MT last August. Her daughter sold for $3,600 at the spotlight sale at ADGA convention this year. Saada has their own website if you want to see pictures of their goats. One of my bucks is out of a Saada doe and he is a pretty large 2 year old.
