I had babies born last night, well, 2 am this morning, they are in my kitchen. it is way cold out side, and going to be way down to night, and tomorrow as well.

Some people also use onw of those sealed oil electric heaters in their barns. We have one and are planning to put it on cinder blocks with cement cloth on the wall behind, enclose it in hardware cloth and top it with a board. If any heat gets out it should help... I have been told they are very safe, and will turn off if they tip over.

Hi Jillis...

We are looking for one of those. I think somebody else on this thread mentioned them. Hubby stopped at the farm store here..but alas, they did not have one. We live in a pretty small town.

But we will keep trying. Wonder if any outfit sells/ships them? Any way...thank you so much! And it sounds like you really are prepared. Good for you! And good luck on your babies!
