Hello from Arizona

I don't really know what to say to introduce myself. I am a married mother of one extremely active toddler. My husband is active duty military and we are stationed in Southern Arizona for the time being. We are hoping to be out next year and moving to the east coast.
Until we get a place of our own we are learning a lot about being self sufficient. My husband and I both love building furniture. I am also learning to sew better this year and have a goal of making a quilt. I am also canning and dehydrating now and started my very first garden. I am hoping to learn about soap and candle making in the coming year as well.
I am pretty sure that covers it all

Welcome. We have a son and family in Sierra Vista. Maybe close? Anyway, welcome, you will enjoy it here.

Hooray!! More people from Arizona. I don't know how you function here. Coming from the Pacific Northwest, I am used to green things growing everywhere.

For starters realize that it is spring in the desert and every little thing is beginning to bloom, my home smells like orange blossoms today and it is perfect weather for being out doors and it is still February.
