Why is a hurricane in Florida like Christmas?

In this world we either laugh, or we cry. I'de rather laugh.

Why is a hurricane in Florida like christmas???

You get to watch a lot of special programming on TV that you see at no other time of year.

You get to go shopping in huge crowds for scarce expensive little used stuff.

You buy a lot of special food you eat at no other time of year.

And you wind up with a tree in the house!

Downed power lines make excellent security systems.

Candlelight is better than Botox for taking years off your appearance.

You never know what you're going to get, if anything, or what it will be like if you get it.
