Psychic/Faith Healer

Hello folks. I am searching for a Psychic healer preferably in Illinois or Missouri. I am not a kook or anything like that just a desperate soul. I have a neuromuscular disease that has left my body debilitated. I have taken my last route searching for help and answers from the medical communty. They are basically just taking the stance of trying to keep me comfortable. I am wanting more. I am wanting to return to being the one who takes care of my family not the other way round. I tried doing a google search only to find psychic readers and tarot readers. What I am searching for is a person with the ability to heal.

Additional Information:

Hello folks, Thanks to all your replies and pm's. Thought I better give everyone a little more information. I may have not explained myself very well. First let me say I believe there are people who are given special gifts who walk among us. Just as there are people who are given the gift of teaching or preaching . I also believe there are people who are given the gifts of healing.

Some of these healers are in the field of medicine such as my daughter who is a chiropractor. My daughter's care is what has kept me going these last couple years. I have used accupuncture and it has helped with pain control in the past.
I am currently seeing a Holistic physician.

My request is the hope of hearing from one of these gifted souls who have the gift of healing. I know this maybe unorthodox for some but all I can say is one would have to walk in my shoes before they judge too quickly.
My quality of life is precarious at best. I just have this strong feeling not to leave any stone unturned that might offer me some hope.

I am a believer and I do pray. I will say this, I am not a believer in organized religions that give reasons such as ......the reason you are not healed is because of the sin in your life or your faith is not strong enough. It's hard enough being sick without having all this extra guilt heaped on.

I have dealt with illness my whole life. I have been able to overcome and press on with the power of prayer, my faith, and the love of my family. The last two years have taken a serious toll on this body. I have undergone two neurosurgeries that have had less than favorable results. Now as I am typing this to you folks, I'm confined to a bed or wheelchair and on oxygen 24/7. I am just trying to muster the strength to keep this fight going. So now you have the rest of the story. What would you do if you were in my shoes?

There are those with the ability to clense and heal, do not crowd them but ask nicely to have their services issued to you. They are real if you will let it happen.

Have you tried acupuncture? Very often people associated with acupuncture can lead you in the direction you are wanting to go.

Neva, you can try contacting the Church of Religious Science. They have practitioners and if they aren't what you are looking for they might be able to lead you in the right direction. Good for you for looking into alternative healing!

I am not near those states, but you might also look for a Reiki healer or possibly a chiropractor. SOME chiropractors (not all) are healers as well...I think if you follow the avenues that others have mentioned you might get some leads. Best to you

Go to a local college or university and speak to the head of the psychology dept. Ask them about para-psychology. They should be able to hook you up with someone.

Hi Neva -

Perhaps an alternate idea? I have a close friend that has MS. 1 1/2 years ago, she was ready to be fitted for a wheelchair at 36 yo. Through a number of circumstances, she had to be taken off all her MS meds. During that time, she did a lot of prayer and searching on the internet for alternative medicine ideas. Now through her prayers & efforts (you can PM me) she is a vibrant and functioning wife & mother again. She is more than happy to talk to anyone about how she got where she is. I truly pray that you find what you are looking for. God bless.

You have the perfect attitude for healing. I am speaking as one in a similiar situation. Registered nurse...diagnosed with chronic fatigue..no medical cure just help with the symptoms. Google Kombucha tea. It has been a cure for centuries in China and Russia. There are many things kombucha helps ..chronic fatigue, arthritis, and ms are some. I took it for four days...could make a fist which I had not been able to do for several years..go down steps one foot at the time...I was in mid fifties and not ready to be taken care of either. These symptoms have not come back. This was years ago. A friend was cured of carpal tunnel syndrome. You make it yourself with a starter ..similiar to sour dough principle. Costs pennies. If you are interested email me.

have you tried the master physician? Jesus.
He is the ONLY one. No "psychic" can cure you. The bible tells us not to dabble in pyschics or witchcraft. It is of satan. I know you dont want him helping you. Call on the master pastor. I will be praying for you. I also have a neuromuscular disease-myasthenia gravis. He gives me the strength for each day and I take care of my family.

Because He lives

Please tell me where the Bible addresses psychic healing or any other matter of mind over matter. This is NOT to be confused with witchcraft .... I would like the verses to study psychic abilities.

nutrition and healing

Have you looked into Natural Hygiene? Fasting and raw food diets? I had chronic pain in my foot for 6 years and after going to the podiatrist, orthopedist, acupuncture, sports medicine specialists, psychiatrist, etc. finally I went to a vegan health spa in Miami and ate vegan food, fasted for five days on water and generally rested for 3 weeks. It cost me about $3000 but the pain disappeared and hasn't been back since. So I'm a believer and experiencer(!) in the interaction between inflammatory disease and diet.

Good luck to you!

I read the link.
Still can't see how learning to use one's mind or allowing another to use their mind is worship of the devil. Psychology and para-psychology are no different than using medication to heal. Just a few years ago, those who used herbs and "native American" medicine were called devil worshippers. I guess I'm saying if it's wrong to see a psychic healer then it's also wrong to use an aspirin for a headache, but that's just one opinion.
There are those who use ONLY prayer to heal, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Be true to yourself......

Oh I suppose I misunderstood what was being asked. I didn't read this Thread the author posted as wishing to find someone in the occult. I thought she was searching for someone who was perhaps self trained in the "mind over matter" area. God gave us a mind, and pain is a huge matter. Sometimes people just need someone physically there to help them learn the bio-feedback techniques. Some folks are simply better than others teaching someone to do these steps.

I will agree with the fasting and detoxification also. Then read up everything you can find concerning Juice Plus. We take Juice Plus daily and there are many many testimonies as to have folks with things like arthritis and other painful diseases have been helped tremendously. If you need some help in finding a Distributor let me know, as I can locate one for you.

The scriptures do say, "a happy heart maketh well like a medicine". But it is so hard to be happy when one is in terrible pain. I suppose this is well the word faith comes in. I have a hard time with faith even though I try hard. Good luck and I hope you find something that works for you.

Well, my mother prayed and prayed and lived for 24 years with Cushing's Syndrome, in terrible pain. The last few years she was bedridden, and I took care of her. But doctors or the Bible or praying didn't help. The only thing that helped, was when she finally died.

Myself, I believe in herbal remedies, Chinese Medicine and especially, as was already mentioned - detox your system. Check out www.herbalhealer.com she has lots of good remedies plus many articles and letters from her clients.

Good Luck.

Well here are some verses. I am not exactly sure what you are looking for but here goes.
Leviticus 20:6 "I will set my face against the person who turns to mediums and spiritists to prostitute himself by following them, and I will cut him off from his people."

Leviticus 19:31 "Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God."

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 "10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord...."

Jebus, someone is honestly asking for help and it has to turn into a ****ing match about who has the "true" religion.

Lands sakes, all ...

Neva, healing comes from within. It always does. It is you that has to believe in the power to heal yourself. Even Jesus taught that, "... thy faith hath made thee whole ..." (Mark 5:34).

Faith healers only tap the power that is already within you.

If you don't know how to meditate, learn.

I have more to say but I'm very tired tonight, so I think I'll save it for the morning.

Be well.

Okay that "netnanny" auto censor thing is kinda gettin on my nerves.
