Homemade Sugarless Gatorade Recipe

Have always wanted sugarless gatorade.

1 package of either Wylers or Crystalite drink mix
2 quarts water
1/4 tsp table salt
4 each 99mg Potassium tablets

I get tablets at Walmart for $1.87 for 100 tablets. Crush tablets and add to drink mix. Add other ingredients and refrigerate.

Neat stuff! We'll give it a try. Found a website once for making your own knockoff products. (A-1, 57, & barbeque sauce, etc...) wish I could find it again.

Of course the drink mixes have Asparatime, which IMHO is more unhealthy that sugar. I used to have a recipie for a 'Schweitzel' drink which had cider vinegar, honey, ginger, and lemon juice. You could add the K and salt to the mix as well. I'll see if I can track down the recipie when I get home.

I like a morning refresher drink of 1/2 a lemon, a teaspoon or two of maple syrup, a dash of cayenne pepper all in distilled water. VERY refreshing! You could add the other stuff to it and I bet it would work fine. I think I'll go have some right now...

That is called a master cleanser. Very good drink for doing a body detox.
I am very interested in the apple cider honey drink.
