Wow! What a thunder and lightning show

God put on here last night. In all my years I've never seen anything like it. Started at about 9:00 last night and continued until about 4:30 this morning. Very close and very loud. I guesstimate about 4-5 inches of rain came with it.
Don't see any immediate damage this morning but I haven't been too far from the house yet.

Devine appearing lightning and thunder is a daily occurance here in Central Florida, we are subject to the most lightning in the world exspect a rain forest in Africa which gets only slightly higher strikes. It is not strange or unusual for just the lightning alone to shake a frame house, you feel the shake before the thunder clap!

Could you send some of that rain our way. We haven't had but 1/4" of rain going on a month and a half now. The corn has tasseled without any ears. We had a $120.00 water bill last month trying to keep the garden watered.
