Mother Earth News Archives

Gosh, I thought everyone knew about the TMEN archives. They are available online for all issues. Go see:

http://www.motherearthnews.com/menar...ve/default.asp

There is a vast amount of information and easier than rummaging through all my original paper issues!

Hi Bearkiller;
I tried the link and it opened to a new page to search the archives. BUT whenever I entered a keyword I got a fatal error message. Is there another link I can use for the archive?
Thanks;

Ooops, sorry guys,

Looks like we can't depend on ANYone any more. Near as I can tell they have scrapped the online archives in favor of a purchaseable CD. A much harder way to go is to look at the issue index which is here:

http://www.motherearthnews.com/mothers_library/

but that is no better than rummaging through the two big indexes they offer. Gotta remember that I have every issue and the indexes up until I got fed up with the new super slick nonsense sometime in the 90's

White Wolf, your link did not work either...maybe because of the underlining which obscured the underline between "mothers" and "library."

I have MENS back to the 70's also !! I'm really selfish with them too. Whenever I have doubles..which I seem to have a few too many...I give them to "new homesteaders" starting out. I feel like I'm giving part of me away..sure hope they treasure them as much as I do. I enjoy looking at the magazines and not the CD. Something about having them in your hand. I just bought their indexes last year in fact. They said they had 1 left after my purchase on the older magazines. Felt lucky to get them as E-bay was auctioning them off for more than I bought new !! I still subscribe to the new MENS...I think they are coming back around to what they were and hopefully will be someday again.

Firefox browser pulled it right up for me.

Doesn't everyone use Firefox as a browser? I abandoned MS IE6 last year, with no regrets. Another good reason to switch!!!

I have the first two hundred issues or so in boxes. It's fun to browse.

I'm a foxfire browser, too!!!
