Okay, silly question..but what else is new?

If the other countries sit on the right side of thier cars to drive.
Do they mount thier horses on the right side also?

Horses are traditionally mounted from the left because a gentlemans sword hangs on the left side of his belt, thus becoming an impediment for mounting from the right.

Tinknal is correct.

Makes you wonder, though...did they then ride their horses on the left side of the road, so that if they had to draw their sword against someone, that person would end up being on their right, same as the sword arm?

And if that's true...were the first Americans all left handed? :haha: :haha:

Okay, I've been up since 2 and am a bit wired.

And, if you consider someone a troll, free free to bypass the troll. They can't run you down and catch you, you know. That's only in faery tales.
