Quick Answer On A Specific Sealant

I'm having a contractor come in to seal the inside of my cistern due to a leak (this is my drinking water). He plans to use Thoro-seal. My problem: I have no idea how to spell thorough-seal and can't find the company. I found something on it but not from the company and no MSDS or technical info.

Has anyone used this? Is it drinking water safe??

Thnaks a lot!

I found the MSDS at kstcoatings.com. There seems to be more than 1 company that makes a product called Thoroseal and there is a product called Theroseal. I'd check with your contractor to find exactly what he is using. Hope this helps.

Peace,
Curtis

I called off the contractor. I'm doing it myself. I'm using a hydraulic cement to plug the hole but what can I use to coat over this? I bought UGL DRYLOK waterproofer. The website isn't any help at all! Neither is the product label. They don't say one way or the other if it's safe for potable water.
