How Can I Get My Hair To Grow Long?
Is there a certain food that speeds up hair growth?
Please tell.

Well, my lady with long hair says it takes time and you should always get those little trims to get rid of bad ends before they get worse.

Lots of Sex.
Mind blowing SEX.
Either your hair will be long or your eyeballs will be so distorted that everything will look LONG.

Oh brother!
Try eating foods with lots of keratin in them. Hair and fingernails are made of keratin. Eggs and gelatin products also help somewhat.
Great sex is optional. More fun-but optional.

Keratin requires sulphur. See the suggestion of MSM above. MSM supposedly also thickens the hair

More realistically ...
1. The softer your water, the better. I used to have hair down to my mid-thighs but I can't get it to grow beyond my waist, now. The well I'm on now is ridiculously hard, even compared to Phoenix water, which is what I had before.
2. Mild shampoos, and thoroughly condition it EVERY time.
3. Comb it out gently, preferably using a boar-bristle brush. Be careful and take your time. Broken hairs add up, over time ...
4. NO hair spray, no hair color, no BLOW DRYING (bad, bad, bad if you want long hair).
5. Wear it in a bun or a braid to prevent individual hairs being caught and broken off, if you're doing anything outside. This does add up, eventually.
6. Use soft scrunchies, not rubber bands.
7. Avoid chlorinated swimming pools and salt water.
Anyway, that's what works for me ... genetics helps, too.

Ask Andy Rooney. Whatever he takes is working great on his eyebrows.

My hair has not been cut in 25 years, & it was getting shorter & thinner in spite of everything I tried---until I started taking Source. I've been taking it 4 months now, & I can't believe the difference. The first couple of months, there wasn't much change, but all at once, it started growing like crazy.
I'm not sure what it is, but I think it's seaweed meal. Whatever it is, it works!!!

THANX OD!
May I ask what you pay for this?
I looked at that site and found a store in my area but I didn't see a price listed for it.

when my hair stopped growing and then falling out I panicked went to the dr he had me try A-G Pro it's in the vitamin section that helped some then i started having other things come to find out my thyroid was not functioning now i'm on meds and everything is going well. There was a difference with the A-G Pro it helped some it has a lot of amino acids. If you're feeling fatigued and gaining weight you might want to check out your thyroids. If not u probably just need a supplement. also pre-natal vitamins are good too. Rannie

Saw Palmetto will help with thinning hair. You need to take it for a long period. It blocks the action of testosterone.

I was curious, so I looked it up in my handy dandy Human Anatomy and Physiology textbook. (and yes, I do have a life.) According to the text, hair growth can be influenced by many factors, but most importantly nutrition and hormones. (Hormones influence EVERYTHING!) Situations that increase local dermal blood flow such as chronic physical irritation or inflammation can enhance hair growth. Apparently old time bricklayers who used to carry their hod on one shoulder all the time would develop one hairy shoulder. So maybe the oltime advice of brushing 100 strokes every night really does help as it would increase local circulation. Or, you could carry a bricklayers hod on your head.
