cooper cleaning

Any good ideas for cleaning the outside of cooper not using abrasive or harmful chemicals?

cooper? Are we talking Copper here? I think I have chickens on my mind and am thinking "coop"! LOL

If it's Copper, there are a number of good commercial cleaners available for copper pots. They do a nice job too.

Rub the copper with Worcestershire Sauce, let set for a minute and rinse off! You can also try rubbing with catsup, but I like the sauce method better

I have always used lemon juice 100% and a little baking soda, rub gently so as not to scratch the copper. Shines up real nice.

hehehe I thought chicken coop too

Coopers are more-or-less normal people, except that they build wooden barrels or buckets. I wouldn't use lemon juice or vinegar or Worcestershire sauce - they might have broken skin and it would hurt them, then they might defend themselves with those sharp woodworking tools.

On the other hand, if you used warm water, soap and a washcloth then both the cooper and you might enjoy the process a lot.
