I need to know how to unstick the feed dogs mechanism on my Kenmore 148.15210 .......I dont want to pay $75 ............they are stuck in the up position.........have tried oil.......

Tough one to answer.

Most mechanical things like that, you first try reversing it to back it out the jam. It that doesn't work, usually some type of disassembly is required.

Something like a picture could help us to see better what is involved.

When was the last time you removed the plate over the feed dogs and the bobbin assembly and thoroughly cleaned everything? If you haven't done so in awhile, your problem might be lint, thread, dust, etc.
