Christmas Tree Recycling

A few weeks ago someone asked what to do with old Christmas trees. Well, here you see Beth and her son Orlando making short work of ours. Another benefit of owning Highland cattle.

That didn't work. Does anyone remember how to get a picture from Walagata to here?
Thanks,

My Dad always tosses his Christmas tree into the pond so the fish have a place to lay their eggs.

Last year I saved a bunch of them and when the Patriots won the Super Bowl we had a nice little bonfire! Our version of fireworks!

I'm considering the bonfire idea...as opposed to finding the energy and time to wrestle the durn thing back into its box!

We toss it out the front door and the goats turn it from a Christmas Tree to a skeleton tree within an hour. They seem to really like Spruce the best

Here we set them out on the curb and a some fishing group comes by and picks them up. They use them to mark roads on lake winnebago for the ice fishermen.

I tied mine to the fence between two pastures, so both sets of goats could reach it. Limhyl brought hers over, too, so I had one on each side. Then another friend decided to bring hers. I now have some lovely spikey sticks that will go well in the bonfire for the next party we throw.
