I lost my sweatband.......

....some where out there today, was mowing and the tractors heat was so much that I started to sweat, I really hate sweat in my eyes. Its a foam band with a streachy loop that keeps the sweat out of my eyes well. Did I mention its 81 out there today? And is exspected to be the same for about a week here in central Florida, whats it like where you choose to live?

Don't be mad at me,just come here in August when it is 115 in the shade!! Of course the 10 month growing season is also enjoyed....

In the upper 40's F here and soggy wet and misty/foggy/rainy. Flood watches and warnings. If you aren't careful it'll suck your boots off.

The chickens insisted on staying in the coop today and wanted the doors shut! Tell you anything?

Got to 78 here today. Had to get up on the roof to lay a little felt paper, and sweated like crazy.

Wish I could have been outside on a beautiful day like this. I was stuck working inside, wearing an overshirt, in the air conditioning!

The temp gauge here shows 30 degrees. Of course I'm at work, and people driving up in their warm cars want to chat! My standing there shivering seems to go un-noticed. But the shack is probably 110 degrees, so I warm up fast.

It was -32 this morning, got up to -10 or so. Warmest day I have seen since last Thursday was 3 degrees. The good news is I don't have to worry about a sweat band, maybe tomorrow though, it is supposed to get up to 18 I think, it will feel like a heat wave.

I'm not a hat person so I always have a sweatband handy. Usually use a rolled up bandana. Only 54 degrees here today, I'm happier at 70 and rising!
