fact or fiction?

I heard from one person(through the "grapevine") that the price of wood pellets(for pellet stoves) are going up 40% within a year.

Another person(who sells pellet stoves) says that the price could actually come down due to there popularity.

ANyone? anyone? 40% would be about $1/bag...I've been very tempted to buy one (i know 3 people who own them--very satisfied).

Had one at the last house. I liked burning pellets but hated the sound of the fans running all the time. When power went out as it often does here we had to run the generator to use the pellet stove to say warm and that created more noise. If you live in the city or don't lose power a lot and don't mind the noise of the fans then it seems like one would work for you.
