Anyone here familiar with McBain Michigan?

I won't be getting tenure, so next summer I'll be job hunting. I know there might be an opening somewhere around McBain. Looks fairly rural on the map. Anyone ever been there? Would you be able to tell me about it? If so, thanks.

Hello! I must have missed your post the day it went up and just happened across it. I'm not an expert on McBain, but I will try to answer any general questions I can or try to talk to someone who knows. My parents live in Cadillac which is about fifteen minutes or so from McBain. We are in that area often, but we don't live up there (yet?). My favorite craft show is held in McBain!

McBain is a small rural town, definitely a farming community. They seem to be very into their public schools. Cadillac would be the closest town of any size that would have supermarkets, etc.
