40 acre invesment

What do you think----is it a good invesment?

Our DD lives in Virginia and is 27.
She ask us to go check out a parcel of land near us here in Wis, that she found for sale by way of her computer.

40 acres ----- just across the gravel road is a nice river and next to that is the Chewamaquon National forest.

30 acres is tillable and will be rented out to a neighboring farmer---the other 10 acres is rough woods and marsh.

She bought it---sight unseen, based on what her dad and I told her------

When her DH retires from the Marines in another 10 years---they may build there...........or they may not..............

Either way-----we think she made a very good investment and we are PROUD of her.

You can't go wrong with land. The 40 acres dh and I bought on a contract for deed 10 years ago is worth five times as much today. And we never dreamed we'd live on it, but here we are!

I think she made a hood decision as well. Your right you can't wrong with a property investment. Plus it also show she respects and listens to your advice. You raised her well.
