I'm forbidden ?

Our Norton antivirus expired a couple days ago. We're shopping prices right now. I'm wondering if thats the reason why I'm getting this message. http://www.bladeforums.com/features/...amentals.shtml I got this message when I tryed to click on a link that one of the forum members posted. I also recieved the same message from another forum that I talk on from timt to time. Any suggestions ?

all most any program you need is free on the internet.

I've never seen where Norton Antivirus is free. If thats what you are saying is causing my problem. Where can I get that for free ? I've only seen it for the price range of 35.00 to 50.00 depending on which newest/updated version you want to get. I'm not the sharpest knife in the kitchen drawer when it comes to computers.

I get the same message from that link. My Norton is up to date so thats not the prob.

Two good free anti virus programs are AVG and AVAST! Do a search on them.

The AVG is the best antivirus program out there and it is free for home use. Just do a google search for it.

Norton AV 2004 shut my machine down,and unless you are very savvy,the Norton site is useless.Dumped Norton,that alone was a big challenge, and now use FREE AVG.Its excellent and bug free.

Agreed, I dumped norton too, what a monster to eliminate from my system. It plants itself deep, I do a two stage attack.

I use AVG

AND

Then run the free online Panda Virus Scan, a very sweet program that picks up virus' that other programs miss, checks your email messages, even the "deleted" ones.
