Cleaning Plexiglass?
I have interior plexiglass "storm windows." They were very popular in the 1970's.. plexiglass sheets cut to the size of your window, then fitted with magnetic edging which mates to magnetic strips perminantly mounted on the window casings. If you're thinking "wow, what a great idea" don't go rushing out to find them... I don't think they're made any more, and using the window sealing plastic sheeting kits will make a better seal and be more see-through than these are. At best you could call these "convenient."
But I can't get them clean. They're "cloudy." The windex seems to move the cloud around, but it doesn't take it off. Winter is gray enough without adding gray to the windows!
Does anyone know what you're supposed to use to clean plexiglass?
Thanks... T
