Feet in Claw foot bathtub

We can't figure out how they are suppose to be attached.
And sources for info would be appreciated.

We have a claw foot tub and when we were looking at feet we found different tubs have different styles. Ours slide into place. If you got the tub and legs at different places make sure you have the style to fit your tub.

We actually have 2 tubs which both came with their original feet--------the one that is less desirable conditopn has a clamp that fastens the feet to the tub.

The other tub will require less work before installing ..... if we could only figure out how the feet are suppose to be re-attached to it.

We may have to pay a visit to a architectural antique store and do some exploring.

What a lot of fun, restoring an old claw foot tub. It's a good thing they weigh a lot, because by the time I finished with ours, I was ready to throw it out a window. But we sure love it. We get so many coments on it. The feet on ours slide in and screw down. I know Menards has a book with parts for them. If you want to pay a ton of money.
