Anyone have a Roper washer and dryer?

I have to buy a new washer and dryer ASAP. Lowe's has a Roper brand extra large capacity washer with 4 cycles for $217 and a 3 cycle dryer for $178. These are the best prices I can find, but the only thing I know about Roper is that it's made by Whirlpool.

Anyone have a Roper? Would you recommend it?

Just gave a Roper top load washer and 3 temperature dryer away after upgrading to a high capacity front load whirlpool set. The ropers performed without a hitch since 1989 doing a load a day on average. Yes, I would reccomend them.

Thanks Shrek. Reckon I'll be calling Lowe's today. All my jeans are dirty and I need 'em!

We've had a set of those Roper cheapies for 8-9 years, and they work fine. $400 for both. They just don't have all the choices that the more expensive one's do.

Well darn! They want $55 for delivery. I don't know what to do. We can't go pick them up 'cause the trailer is loaded with fence posts.

UGH...maybe a couple more days without jeans and I'll be willing to fork over the dough for delivery.
