How about posting links to build it yourself housing sites, such as adobe, sod, log, slipforming, stone, staw, huts, etc, anything that is made onsite from materials gathered onsite. I would be very interested. The more simple the better , even grass huts :-) I will do some looking and post what i can find later.

Where you located? I attended three diferent course on bale building and will be building a 45x65 post and beam bail home in a few weeks. probably about middle of Oct. Your welcome to come and observe take notes pics etc and see if it is your way of thinking.

Go to the archives, click on countryside, scroll down to 'construction', we have been doing this since the site started. Many questions and answers are there all ready.
