Architectural shingle questions.....

I was at Lowes today and could not find any instructions on their outer package.....is there an instruction sheet on the inside....

When shingling from left to right, if the right end of the shingle is a wide, double, start with a narrow double. If it is a narrow single, the next shingle should be a narrow single. Sort of self explanatory.

architectural usually use a starter shingle or 3 tab upside down for the starter row at the eves then cut halves start with a full the next row up is a half

you should get a book from the library , or home store , if your asking this question there are probably 30 more you haven't thought to ask yet
