Aquastar 125B - dripping from weep hole

I have an older Bosch Aquastar 125B tankless hot water heater, that has started a very s-l-o-w drip from the weep hole.

I'm thinking I need to look at repairing or replacing the water valve assembly, but I thought I'd throw it out here to see if anyone has any other ideas what may cause this?

I took the front cover off of mine
And watched I found a spot on the water pipe...not at a joint

I marked
Turned it off waited for it to cool and used plumbers epoxy ..fixed
Sold the house it was in three years later no problems.

Cost to fix....less than ten dollars.
