if you lease pastures, who is responsible for the maintenance of the fences?...the owner who receives the rent? or the one who uses the pastures for their livestock...fences were in place prior to the lease arrangement, but they have deteriorated.....

Depends on whats on your lease agreement, but my experience has been the lessee is responsible for fence maintenance.

Our agreement - we pay for fencing supplies, renter is responsible for labor to maintain.
