Gutter repair?

I've got a couple joints in my gutters that are leaking. Anything I can use to fix them while they are wet? Been trying to get it fixed for a couple weeks but they are always wet. I collect my rain water for household use and livestock water so I need to use something that isn't really nasty.

Thanks!

The only thing that would work while it is wet is plumbers putty

Other than some food grade silicone and some sheet metal screws, I can't think of anything quick and easy. Is this on a 2 story house?
