My nephew has the only other working haypress in Indiana. It is awesome to watch. He does a demonstration every fall. I posted pictures last fall in the CF forum.

We used to have one of the old punch and tie balers. You could make a bale of hay any size and weight you wanted.

I tied on a travling hand tie bailer once, and ive pitched to a stationary hand tie bailer a couple times at shows.

My uncle and a group of old timers established a "Steam engine show" in the mid 1960's. They have a stationary baler there each year, it is powered by horses that walk around in circles.

I have never helped with it, but watched it many times.
