Does anybody know BAMA grape jelly?

I see that theres a canning lid inside the blue plastic cap. Does anyone know if the jar takes a regular canning ring, or not.

The jars are not adequate for repeated canning use and are not the same as regulation reusable canning jars.

I hated when the Bama brand switched from being packed in 10 ounce heavy drinking glasses with a snap on heat sealed lid that required a bottle opener end of a church key to pop off to the current jars about 20 years ago.

When I first moved out on my own for 3 months I made sure peanut butter and Bama jelly sandwiches were on my daily menu as I stocked up on drinking glasses

The snap on lids they used on the drinking glasses made nice free drain screeners when drilled out with a dremel tool driven 1/32 bit to keep food scraps from clogging the drain.

Left intact the drinking glass lids also made a decent pressure seal kitchen sink plug if the one furnished by the apartment somehow got thrown out in the trash.

I have about 2 dozen of the Jelly Glasses. Found 4 more this week in an old trash pile on the property. We have eight of the glasses in the kitchen that my DW used as a child. We use them often.
