Ready. This winter hasn't been too bad. The worst here was November and early part of December. We still have enough wood for about 6 more months.

Yeah, watch the TV tomorrow and see the rodent from Punxsutawney, PA make it's decision on 6 more weeks of winter or Spring is right around the corner (in 6 weeks).

Might be interesting over there tomorrow (well actually starting very early in the morning) since PA is having a massive snow storm this evening. I live within a 1/2 hour drive of Punxsy and have NEVER gone to Groundhog Day.

For anyone going tomorrow - they will have bad roads to deal with. All the local school districts around here have already closed for tomorrow.

I've barely touched my hay and still have quite a bit of wood. That takes care of the practical stuff. Now if I can get my mind out of the ditch because everything is dead and gray...

2 weeks ago nearly all of our snow was gone. Now we have 2 foot and more is coming down. Overall we are about average.

We have gone through a cord of firewood, and are now in the middle of number two. We normally go through around 3 cords of firewood to heat this big house [2400 sq ft].

I feel bad for folks way up North.

I'm eager for spring, but as long as the weather keeps up this warming and cooling trend I don't mind.

I posted elsewhere asking one of you hunters to shoot that groundhog, I wish Roadking's groundhog was Phil! My kids are racking up snow days and delayed openings like crazy. At this rate they will be going to school in July! I wouldn't mind the winter if the snow storms could be confined to Friday nights through about noon on Sunday!

I need spring!

It was 55 today. Tomorrow we're supposed to get up to an inch of snow, but it's supposed to be in the 60s for the rest of the week after that...
I sure can't complain.
(...Mostly because my SIL in Boston won't let me )

It was 56 yesterday, Iues. Supposed to hit high 40s by noon then drop like a rock down to 15 tonight. HIGH winds will knock the feeling of high 40s out the window,

We really haven't had much winter here. Been in the 40s and 50s with just a few frosty mornings. I've got bulbs coming up and shrubs starting to leaf out. We still have Feb to get through though.

Feb, AND NOW March. Tanks to Phil lol., like a Sherman tank

Feb usually proves to be hardest and trickest month of winter
