homesteading in bonanza oregon

Hi, new here. I live in southern Oregon. I just bought 3.6 acres outside bonanza. It'll be a year or two before we have the well and septic in. I would like to meet people who live there and are into offgrid living.

Congratulations on your purchase! I see Bonanza is near Klamath Falls. I had to look it up. Even though I'm a lifelong Oregonian, I'd never heard of it. I'm in Eastern Oregon, so not close.

There was a young man on here last year who moved down that way from Washington. Wonder what happened to him. Welcome from the central Oregon Beach. I am hoping we will be going through that area this summer on a trip to Lake Tahoe, down to Yosemite over to the redwoods and back up the coast....James,
