Just thought I'd extend an invitation to everyone to drop by the "Work-at- Home-Business" forum and either join an existing thread or start one of your own. Seems like we're all trying, in one way or another, to accomplish the goal of being able to live at least semi-self-sufficiently, doing something consistent with the homesteading lifestyle we've chosen. But it also seems like very few of us have actually been able to accomplish that.

The "Work-at-Home-Business" forum is a great opportunity to share ideas, but it is languishing. I'd love to see it jump-started with some new people and ideas.

I can work from home if I go to the city every day or the farmers market in the summer. No business with the locals here. They want every thing for free.

I work from home and have for some time now, that is how I have my homestead, for me it's not about the money it's about freedom and being debt free. The money is good don't miss understand but owning a homestead and living a simple back to basics life is what I choose to do. You can see what I do and how HERE It is my homestead blog where I live. I had a lot of request to share so their ya go. The business I do is under "about my blog toward the bottom. I was going to make another whole page, but sharing the business was not the purpose of the blog. The purpose was to share homesteading. Sorry my fingers are cold just came in from the woods and i kep hitting the wrong keys. I've done many things here on the homestead along with the business. Planted pumpkins, winter squash, raised worms, grew veg for stores and farmers market, all kinds of ways to earn.
