cleaning an electric oven

how do you remove the electric element in the oven to clean around it?
the bottom one lifts up... so if that isnt removeable, I wont object too much...

what about that top one?

are the burner bowls (?) a standardized size so I can just go buy new ones? thanks

Lift the bottom one a little and pull toward yourself firmly. Should pop right out. Top one is prob held up with a simple catch or a screw. Get a flashlight and mirror to see better. Should come out pretty easily.

Take burner bowl(s) with you to the store to make sure you get the right ones. They are not standardized.

I'ts been a long time since we used an electric range but I think there are a couple of screws that hold them in back in the back of the oven. They may even pop in like the ones on top. I think the bowls are universal in size. Small ones and big ones. It's been 20 years since we used them so I could be wrong about this.
