Glee technique and fish pond

So I am still mulling over my pond plans. It is about 80 x 70 feet and holding water better and getting some stable shoreline. The deepest part id 6 feet deep. Thinking I'd like to put a couple of pigs in the area around the pond. To raise and to help seal it. If pigs help to seal it, can it be used for catfish later?

Grandpa had a new pond dug and ran hogs in it and but catfish in and we never had trouble with it and as far as I know it is still doing okay. It was full when I went by the home place last Summer.
