Unhappy I Feel Sorry For My Neighbors

Ok they bought property next to us, to come on weekends and be in the country, put St. Louis behind.

First off they felt they had to Bully me and my wife to get their way. Both got Lawyers they didn't get nowhere.

They put up a Tall Privacy Fence and had Professional Security System put in.

Today heard them doing something over there. Didn't know what it was until it got dark. They had put Flood Lights around their house.

Like I told my wife I feel sorry for them they have created their own Prison. My wife worked at the State Prison, not much difference here except lacking the Razor Wire.

Just think of all the money they wasted. You can laugh about it, and thank God for all the joy He is bringing you.

My Lord that is a nasty photo and now I will have bad dreams LOL. If we each take a moment I imagine we all feel sorry for our neighbors. I feel bad for mine cause they have mean dogs and not enough trees!

If the neighbours are comfortable and happy with their situation, that's all that really matters.

I'm more of an open spaces kinda gal but life would be pretty boring if everyone thought the same way.

I would absolutely so hate having that much light around at night. Good dark is very hard to find these days.

I thought the same thing... I figured I'd be doing a little target practice when they went back to the city.

Man alive big rockpile what hit you in the mouth?
I will never forget when one of my cousins stopped by on the way to the hospital to show us his mouth damage. The left end of his mouth had been extended about 2 1/2 inches and he was missing about four teeth. It was winter and he was trying to yank his brother out of a snow bank using an old plastic braided tow cords that had the hooks on each end. One hook broke and the broken part left on the rope hit him in the face.

I must not be strange. Not so much anymore but I use to go anywhere in the United States and people knew me. Now most know me from the Internet, I can be miles from home in the woods and people come up to me knowing who I am.

We use to go on Hunting Trips, Tent Camp, I took my wife and Kids. Decided to go to other Camps and visit. Took my Stepson. Get back to Camp, he says Mom Dad knows everyone.

Bad when Law Enforcement and State Government people know you and will come through a crowded building to say HI! and ask how you are doing.

Oh I did go out shot my 45Cal. Muzzleloader today for couple hours. My other neighbor said it sounded like a Cannon going off.

Dude. You scary.

consider St. Louis. Even in their country cage, that is a major upgrade.

When i bought my house last spring it was like being in a giant sensory deprivation chamber at night. I wasnt used to the dark after being in town. Lots of stubbed toes until i memorized the house. And its so quiet at night all i can hear is the refridgerator humming and my ears ringing. And stars, i almost forgot what they look like.

Maybe fordy is on to something.
If they only come on the weekends, and the lights are on all the time, they may be doing it to get to you.

There may be another forum somewhere with a thread titled "What to do about the old codger next door at our weekend home", with a string of replies that say "Floodlights!!!"

Be careful about following the inevitable advice you're going to get here about shooting them out when the neighbor is not around. If he's got the money to burn on a privacy fence and floodlights, then he's got the money to put in some hidden security cameras, too. If he gets evidence of you intentionally shooting onto his property to destroy stuff, you could get into some serious trouble.

Just saying, be careful. You could end up playing into his hand.
