Help! GE washer continuous draining

Seriously in need of mechanical assistance!
We have a GE washer (model WJRE5550K2WW) & just had to replace the water inlet valve and the "shower head" because it wasn't filling properly.

Now the water pours in perfectly... but instantly drains right out again. What could be the problem? HELP!!

is the drain hose up to the drain or is it laying down then to the drain? It will cause a syphon and drain the water.

I think you're right! He changed where it was draining & had it below the level of the washer.
