What does yours look like?
National Geographic Magazine had an article about refrigerators. They had pictures of different peoples refrigerators, after reading several thread I thought it would be interesting to see what people buy, cook, and eat. I'll start, if you don't have a picture a description will do as well.
Top row is drinks, milk, water, juice and that is koolaid with 1/3 cup sugar and my empty glass, if I don't put it in here it gets washed and put away.
Middle row is soup in crockpot, fruit salad in metal bowl, in the redneck tupperware is 1/2 chicken breast, more fruit under, and hard boiled egg on the bottom, Rye bead with the cat's hamburg on a plate (after reading of all the cats that died of purina cat chow recently my daughter has been buying cheap meat for the cat.) Next is my wifes flavored coffee creamers, and lastly on the shelf turkey bacon and turkey hot dogs (had dollar off coupons for jenny-o)
Bottom shelf, Wife's yogurt, jenny-o turkey ham (having Rubens tonight, sliced it up with the meat slicer) homemade white bread, eggs from our chickens.
Drawers, onions, apples, potatoes, butter.
Door, butter, cheeses, pickles, jams, sweet and sour sauce, yeast, soy, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, dressings, mayo, lemon juice, lime juice, ketchup, mustard, a-1 type sauce, and in the front corner ginger ale.
So what does this say about how we eat, and what does your fridge say about how you eat?

We have an 18 year old refrigerator, almond color. It is small, the smallest refrigerator I could get with a separate freezer. The single bottom drawer typically holds carrots, celery, bell pepper, whatever vegetables I can fit in it. On top of that is a container for dog meat and what vegetables don’t fit in the drawer, also possibly some small jars. Above that, containers of leftovers, carton or two of eggs, a can of pop. Top shelf has milk, kefir, other stuff. Door has butter, essential oils, condiments.
Our new refrigerator (at a different house) is black (way cool!) with a bottom freezer. The freezer has several zip locks of dog food (chicken legs and liver), some meat for people, possibly ice cream. The refrigerator has pop, wilted lettuce, a pizza box. The door has cheese, milk, condiments.
I do not want a refrigerator with side by side doors, nor automatic ice or water.

Sorry I don't have a camera (I actually broke my DIL's cell phone camera when she took a picture of me day before yesterday, ROFL!) My fridge is pretty empty right now -
Top Shelf:
gallon of milk
butter
sour cream
bacon grease
pitcher of ice water
Meat Tray:
cheddar, Monterey jack, Provolone, and American cheese (I'm half rat, ROFL!)
sliced home-smoked turkey breast
half a loaf of sourdough bread (hate to put bread in the fridge, but can't eat it fast enough to leave it out)
bowl of hard-boiled eggs
Second Shelf:
leftover potato cheese soup
bowl of chopped salad
Bottom Shelf:
four dozen eggs from my chickens, lol
Crispers:
lettuce
cabbage
celery
red onion
bell peppers
cucumbers
green onions
carrots
radishes
grape tomatoes (does anyone see more salad in my future??)
Door:
probiotic capsules
flaxseed oil
Miracle Whip
mayonnaise
mustard
hickory smoked BBQ sauce
strawberry jam
plum jam
peach preserves
lemon juice
lime juice
ranch dressing
ketchup
Hmm, it looks like a lot typed out, but there is way too much back wall showing for Wade's comfort, lol!

A lot of stuff that needs to go out the door. Otherwise not much. Milk, tea, condiments, celery, carrots, cornmeal, flour, cheese, pickles. Had a lot of leftovers after T day, but they gone now.

It just makes me feel closer to you than before as I have a lot of people in my life that enjoy giving me a hard time! And it's always" You know I love or I wouldn't be razing you!" I always tell them " I don't have to come over here to get this,it's abundant at home!" I guess I'm loved a lot!
