What to use a Dead Fridge for?
Fridge died. Otherwise, it looks new and 'useable' for
something? Give some ideas on what to use an unworking
refrigerator for.

My dad made a smoker out of one when I was a kid. Worked great.

What about burying it and using it as a cold chest?

Can you use a newer fridge with all the plastic in it to make a smoker? Could all that be stripped out?
I'd lay it on it's back and use it for feed storage. I'd like to find another chest freezer for that use. Works great.

Take off the doors and replace w/something clear. Then use it as a mini greenhouse.

Have a caution where and how you use it if there are children around. Too tempting for hiding in

Thank you for this suggestion.. I just dumped a couple hundred pounds of feed in my machine shed the other day, and wasn't happy with that because I know the mice are gonna have a field day with it..
I have an old dead fridge I am going to move up by my hog area today so I can put the feed in the fridge... I never even though about this.. I was just down in the field yesterday where the fridge was and looking at it with my wife saying it's gonna be more work to turn it into a smoker than it is going to be to just build one from scratch with wood.. I got it from the neighbor with the intent to make it into a smoker...

My ignorance may certainly be showing here; however, wouldn't the coils in the back be problematic? (also the freon still in it a problem??)

I just moved mine this morning up to my pig pen area... Mine is laying on it's back in the yard... No problem with the coils for me.. I could care less about the freon in it.
Glad Ya'll made me do this.. one of my bags of feed already had a mouse hole in it and feed on the ground.. eeerrrr...
