Gas stove

Just got a gas cooktop.
Love my cast iron pans.
Do I need a wire(circle) or something in order to cook in my other cookware , also Corning?

I've been using both cast iron and Allclad stainless cookware, plus a brief foray into Teflon-coated skillets on a gas stove for ten years without any problems or additional equipment. Never messed with Corning products on any type of cooktop, so I can't comment on that.

Corning Visions pots and pans are good for sticking in the microwave. They don't transfer heat well so you get hot and cold spots when you use them on a range. This is especially noticeable with the fry pan. Use your cast iron and heavy metal pans on your cooktop.
