Great place is a pro
To many people there is a con.
It's definitely a LDS , Morman state that can be a pro or con depending on your veiws.

............Do some research on Vernal ! Last I checked the Mormon(s) aren't as densely populated there as they are further west . Vernal is an oilfield town and probably has some good paying jobs associated with that kind of work .
............When I was making yearly trips to Yellowstone back in the 80's I'd drive to Vernal and head north into the Ashley Forest and then drop down into the Flaming Gorge area where there is a very large lake with excellent fishing . Then drive on north into Rock Springs , Wy. which is only 205 miles south of Jackson Hole ! Rock Springs is nothing but Railroads , Motels , Bars , etc . Temps really get cold during the winter . , fordy

Hey, I'm LDS (mormon) and I have no desire to live in Utah.

If you buy land there, make sure you get water rights.

I'm from Vernal it is not the same town I left in the 1980s. It has that big city feel now.

Utah has some stunning scenery. And while I am not LDS I wish all my neighbors were.
Amadioranch and Cabin Boy like this.
