Proscrastination

We're getting abnormally low temps and early snow. We have a load of firewood delivered but DH said remember that big tree behind the pole barn. DH would do it himself but he can't get around like he use to. That tree dropped in 1998. We had our property logged to help pay for our 1st born's college tuition. Well me and the echo were out there yesterday and today cutting that big old oak. The outside is punky but the inside is still pretty solid. It is a booger to spilt with a maul and wedges so I've been cutting the slices a little shorter to help with that.

I'm not bragging about ignoring it all these years just saying hey it is finally getting accomplished. Better late than never. Now that I've got started, I'm gonna drop several trees to start drying for next heating season. Mostly locust and oak. Getting something accomplished feels good!

Procrastinators unite!!!

Tomorrow.

I have a shirt that says that. With a silhouette of a guy in a recliner holding a tv remote. My old boss hated it.

Dad had the farm logged a couple of times. It took us years to cut up all the tree tops.

I was going to form a Missouri procrastinators club.

Procrastination is just prioritizing at a more leisurely pace.
