Bat deterrent

I am looking for a way to keep bats out of my barn storage room. I have wired over all the holes I can find with half inch by half inch hardware cloth and still I have a bat in there this morning. I don't mind bats being around but I do not want guano in the storage room cause it stinks. Placed a light in there last night and still a bat came to roost. Any ideas?

I would put up some bat houses on the exterior of the barn. You have already stopped new roosting if you covered all the openings. If you missed any, you will get new bats coming to the scent of the roost.

Keep looking, you haven't found all the holes yet. Go out at night and with the light on inside see if you can find any holes, you need to think mouse proofing up high.

that is what I told DB, I did get the plans to build a little bat house as well.
