I bought one new in 1976, around the time of the oil embargo. Lots of folks switched to wood. Looks antique but not. Made in China, as I recall. There was a Franklin stove made by the same company and a tiny, worthless pot belly stove.
An old stove would have flat head screws with square nuts. New stuff has Phillips screws and hex nuts.
If the Isen glass is messed up, you may be able to buy replacement pieces from the Tar Heal Mica Company, Plumb Tree, NC. If they are still in business.
