Question Aftermarket Cub Cadet 2135 electric clutches, *CONFUSED*

I have a 2000 series Cub Cadet HDS 2135, the bearing failed in the electric clutch.


...now I removed the clutch, a

Now when I go and cross reference the "5217-7" I find that

But If I look up a Cub Cadet 2135 this is what I get:

Go online to either Rotary Corp. Or Stens Inc. They will have cross references for you on there. All that matters is the electrical plug setup.

You need the first one. Or better yet, sell the cub cadet... My own experience with cub cadet is that I will never, ever purchase anything of that brand again. They love to sell individual pieces to make up a whole part. I have one of their sadly lacking "professional" model weed eaters, when the shaft let go I found out it was cheaper to buy the whole weed eater new than to try and repair the one I have. I went to the Stihl store and have been very happy ever since. I never recommend cub cadet to anyone for anything, well they do make good boat and buoy anchors.
